We had a warm, very weak hot chocolate (forgot the marshmallows) and double macciato which was fine.
It was a good 20 minutes before our big breakfast arrived. I think it had been sitting on a tray for 19 of those minutes! BIG is not the word. Tomato, hash brown, sausages and one small rasher of bacon were tepid at best. Fried eggs had cooked on while we had waited. We paid $2 extra for microwaved mushrooms. The extra $2 for avo mash was ok.
Clearly the whole kitchen and service was under strain.
I don't get it. It would be better to close for the day if staffing is an issue, rather than open and serve up that meal. We spent $30. There are so many good places around. No point going back to Crema Lovers?March 09, 2017
